


Squaredesigns Corporate oversaw the SGESCO-MAX office and workshop transformation, managing the project from measured drawings through to contractor coordination. While the initial concept was designed by others, our team took full ownership of the delivery producing technical drawings, schedules, redesigning key spaces, and managing all works across Stage 1 and Stage 2.
The project included transforming workshop areas, expanding office and amenity zones, creating new R&D facilities, and ensuring a seamless construction and defect process from start to finish.
We partnered with architectural and surveying firm Saunders Havill to deliver two phases of a workplace fit-out in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. The brief was to convert two adjacent warehouse buildings into a unified, high-design workplace for surveyors, urban designers, environmental managers and landscape architects, combining raw industrial elements with functional workspaces, collaboration zones, quiet rooms and acoustic optimisation.
The final design blends industrial character with warm, natural finishes, creating a functional environment with open work zones, quiet rooms, collaborative areas, and dedicated operational spaces. Despite material shortages and budget constraints, the project maintained its design intent through smart value-engineering, strong project management, and a clear vision. The result is a striking, highly functional office that reflects the creativity of the brand and exceeded client expectations.
For this project, Squaredesigns delivered a complete end-to-end interior design and project management service. The scope included developing multiple concept design options, producing detailed existing and proposed drawings, and creating comprehensive schedules for finishes, materials, colours, furniture, fittings and equipment.
We oversaw on-site coordination and project management to ensure the fit-out progressed smoothly and aligned with the design intent. This approach ensures a streamlined, professional experience for clients seeking high-quality commercial interior design, documentation, and project management.
This three-level, 1,100sqm commercial office fitout is an ongoing transformation of a dated 1970s workplace into a modern, vibrant 2025 headquarters for a prestige Brisbane company. Spanning two 450sqm floors with a third level completing the total footprint, this in-progress project requires a strategic balance of traditional corporate values, contemporary interior design, and strict budget management.
Once completed, the upgraded workspace will enhance staff productivity, elevate the client’s brand presence, and deliver a future-ready Brisbane office interior designed for long-term growth and innovation.
We desired a visually attractive industrial design to offer our team a modern and appealing workplace environment, without offering up an unlimited budget to achieve it. We had not engaged an interior designer before so were apprehensive about the process, however Bianca from Squaredesigns Corporate remain highly engaged and guiding with us throughout the entire project to ensure our goals were being achieved within our budget parameters.
The design developed by Bianca was nothing short of striking. “Wow” is a near universal reaction from anyone when they enter the space for the first time. The design is visually appealing and accords with the creative nature of our business. However, the space is also highly functional.
We are extremely pleased with the outcome. Without hesitation, we are engaging Squaredesigns Corporate again to develop a design for fitting out the existing head office areas. Bianca’s office design was both beautiful and functional, the results of which we are truly proud of."
